Manuela was born in Erfurt and completed her degree in tourism in Wernigerode. She has travelled to many distant destinations and as a young woman she completed an internship at a tour operator in Cape Town, it was during this time that she fell in love with Cape Town. South Africa's fascinating landscapes and hospitable people took Manuela under their spell and that's why she moved to Cape Town in early 2003. Manuela is also our sports fan and fitness fanatic, she regularly runs marathons and her big dream is to run the Comrades Marathon, South Africa's most challenging 90km run between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
