Alison was born and raised in Stellenbosch where she grew fond of the beautiful Winelands. After school, she went back to Stellenbosch to finish her Diploma in Tourism. She then took a year to travel around Europe and learn more about the Europian cultures and languages. She came back to South Africa knowing this continent has so much more to offer and immediately started selling safaris. She has been in the industry for four years and has been fortunate enough to visit the Sabi Sands, Okavango Delta, Mozambique and Zanzibar. Her hobbies are mountain biking, motorcycling with her husband, visiting rural towns and going off-road, hiking, reading and she has a huge love for Elephants.
